It is a pure natural product, made from oak barrels used for the ageing of wines and liqueurs from the Marche region of La Rioja, the rest of Spain, France and Portugal. A patented production process allows the preservation of the most important culinary characteristics such as taste and aroma.

Sherry is a fortified wine from white grapes, mainly Palomino grapes, grown near the town of Jerez de la frontera, Spain. The fortified wine is stored in oak barrels, a process by which the liquid left to age in oak changes the taste, color and aroma. After preparation, the barrel is emptied so that the taste and smell of sherry remains trapped in the oak wood.
These barrels are turned into chips, which connects the strenght and quality of the beverage with the high standard of the wood. These chips are the ideal complement for barbeques and gas ovens.

Usage
Soak the desired amount of aromatic woods in water for about 30 -60 minutes. Then pour away the excess water.
Pour the pre-soaked aroma chips without water into a perforated grill or smoking bowl.
Charcoal grill:
Place the bowl with the pre-soaked Aromachips directly on the embers.
Gas barbecue: Place the perforated tray (stainless steel box optionally available from us) with the pre-soaked smoking chips before lighting in the built-in drawer for smoker chips (if available), or according to the operating instructions of the gas barbecue manufacturer.
As soon as the chips start smoking, start the grilling process with your barbecue food.
Pour the pre-soaked aroma chips without water into a perforated grill or smoking bowl.

Place the bowl with the pre-soaked Aromachips directly on the embers.
