Terms & Conditions
These General Terms and Conditions govern the contractual relationship between Fast Tech GmbH (hereinafter referred to as "Fast Tech"), as operator of the Internet sales platform, and the customer (organisation, company, end user, etc.).
§ 2 Conclusion of contract
By placing an order, a sales contract is concluded between you and Fast Tech.
§ 3 Prices
Our prices are quoted in Swiss Francs (CHF) and include the legal value added tax (VAT). The shipping costs are not included in these prices.
§ 4 Shipping costs
Shipping costs are calculated according to weight. The exact amount is shown under the item price. In the case of several articles, the shipping costs for the heaviest article are taken in each case.
§ 5 Offer and order
You can order around the clock in our Internet shop. Once an order has been placed, it is legally binding. Orders from minors and wards are only possible with the consent of the legal representative.
We reserve the right to make changes to the products with regard to design, packaging, prices or ingredients.
§ 6 Payment
Payment can be made as follows: Invoice, Worldline Saferpay (credit cards, Postcard), PayPal, TWINT, payment by instalments or prepayment.
Orders on account and payment by instalments are only possible for private customers with an appropriate credit rating. The check is carried out online during the order process. The data is transmitted to the verification server in encrypted form. The payment period for invoices is 30 days net. For each reminder to the customer, we charge a reminder fee of CHF 12.00 to cover additional expenses, printing and postage costs. In the case of customers who have not honoured their payment obligation even after the 2nd reminder, the claim will be assigned to a third party and an additional CHF 30.00 will be charged for the additional expense.
Payment can be made via Worldline Saferpay by credit card, PayPal, TWINT or Postcard. The data is transmitted to the card verification server in encrypted form.
Payment in advance is possible for both private customers and companies. Once payment has been received, the ordered items will be dispatched
We offer our customers the option of paying the order value in three instalments. The minimum order value is CHF 80.00. This payment method "payment by instalments" is only available if the buyer has the necessary creditworthiness. The fees are CHF 2.90 plus 3.90% of the order value.
We reserve the right in individual cases to deliver only against advance payment.
§ 7 Retention of title
The delivered goods remain the property of Fast Tech until full payment of all claims.
§ 8 Delivery
The delivery of the ordered articles takes place exclusively in Switzerland. Shipping days are Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Parcels are delivered conveniently and directly to your home with DHL Express. Freight forwarding goods are delivered to the curb. We deliver to any address in Switzerland. Fast Tech assumes liability for transport and undertakes to exchange defective items delivered.
Liability is transferred to the buyer as soon as the item has been delivered. An item is considered delivered when:
- DHL has deposited the parcel with the customer. The tracking number is decisive.
- The customer has signed the supplier's delivery note for shipments by freight forwarder, or has issued a written authorisation for storage.
§ 8.1 Floor deliveries
The floor delivery includes delivery with two men. The customer is responsible for ensuring that the passage dimensions on stairs, doors and corridors are sufficiently wide and freely accessible so that the barbecues, including packaging, can be transported without difficulty. The corresponding packaging dimensions can be found in the technical data for the respective barbecue or outdoor kitchen element.
Fast Tech reserves the right to charge the customer for additional expenses in the event of difficult conditions (e.g. difficult access to the house, too narrow passages/doors, steep stairs, delivery to roof terraces, etc.). Excluded from floor delivery are destinations that cannot be reached directly by the service provider (e.g. access only by mountain railway or cable car, car-free destination, restricted access). An individual offer can be made for the delivery of special items (e.g. with loading by train, etc.). This also applies if a furniture lift is required. The resulting additional costs will be charged to the customer.
If it is determined on site that a floor delivery cannot be carried out for safety reasons, the customer is not entitled to a refund.
Not included in the floor delivery are the assembly of the gas cylinder, explanation or introduction of the device. The service provision only includes delivery to the place of use. Deliveries that require a crane, a cable car, a special lift or similar aids for the execution are not included in any of our services. The delivery notification is made by telephone.
§ 9 Delivery dates and delay
The articles will be delivered within three to four working days after receipt of the order. The delivery dates are indicative and without guarantee. This applies in particular as a result of delivery problems at the manufacturer. If a delivery was delayed by Fast Tech beyond a delivery date guaranteed in writing, the customer can put Fast Tech in default after expiry of an additional period of at least three weeks to be set by him in writing and can withdraw from the order after unused expiry of an appropriate additional period of at least one week. Further claims are excluded. If the customer has already made a payment (cash in advance), he has, after the expiry of the additional period, the right to the repayment of the amount paid. A claim in the form of an invoice is required.
§ 10 Returns
The products have left our premises in perfect quality. If you are nevertheless not satisfied with the product quality of the items delivered to you, you have the option of returning the item to us by post within 5 days of receipt in the original packaging. You must bear the costs for the return shipment yourself. The goods must be inspected immediately upon receipt. Any defects must be reported in writing within 5 working days. Generally excluded from a return are:
- Forwarding goods (gas grill and charcoal grill as well as projection screens)
- Products not purchased from Fast Tech
- Products without original packaging
- Products that Fast Tech has specially ordered for customer
- Products with opened protective packaging
- Products that are not complete or used
The shipping costs incurred by us for the delivery of the shipment must be borne by the buyer in the event of a return. We will charge an additional CHF 10.- for the expenses incurred in handling the return (return inspection, storage and stock adjustment).
§ 11 Guarantee guidelines
We grant a guarantee of 3 years on grills. For all other products we grant a guarantee of 2 years.
The standard guarantee included in the purchase is a bring-in guarantee (service point in Reiden). A Pick-Up & Return warranty extension is available for an additional charge.
The shipping costs are to be borne by the buyer (except for the Dead on Arrival and Pick-Up & Return guarantee levels). The purchaser is liable for transport damage.
Repairs are carried out exclusively at Fast Tech GmbH. On-site repairs at the customer's premises are excluded. If Fast Tech GmbH cannot deliver a replacement within 30 days, the purchase price will be refunded pro rata to the warranty period.
Excluded from the warranty are misuse, improper use, alteration, misappropriation, wilful damage, neglect, improper assembly or installation and failure to perform normal, regular maintenance, defects caused by insects (or spiders) and rodents (e.g. martens), which includes damage to the gas hoses, and other causes beyond the control of Fast Tech GmbH.
Excluded from the warranty are wearing parts such as:
- Burner covers
- Burner
- Covers
- Batteries
- Cleaning utensils
- Lava stones
- Himalayan salt stones
- Grill grates
- Cast iron plates
- Wheels
- Pizza stones
- The buyer made a warranty claim with picture or video documentation and submits it to service@fasttech.ch
- The defect is assessed by Fast Tech GmbH
- In the event of a warranty claim, it will be handled in accordance with the terms of the relevant warranty level:
Dead on Arrival (14 days)
Standard (two, or three years depending on the item?)
Bring in warranty extension (five years in total)
Pick up & Return warranty extension (five years in total)
Up to and including 14 days after delivery, the buyer automatically benefits from the Pick-up & Return warranty extension. Should a barbecue or accessories have defects which cannot be repaired by the customer (e.g. by Fast Tech GmbH sending a suitable replacement part), the buyer has the option of a free return during this period.
In the case of forwarding goods, the item will be taken over from the kerbside. We will carry out the repair and deliver the item back to the kerbside. The shipping and repair costs are covered by Fast Tech GmbH.
Barbecues and accessories must be returned in their original packaging. Fast Tech GmbH cannot be held liable for transport damage.
For parcel shipments you will receive a stamped document bag from us. As soon as we receive the rejected item back, we will send you a replacement free of shipping costs.
After the 14-day period has expired, the standard guarantee provisions automatically come into force.
§ 11.2 Bring-In
The purchaser brings the barbecue to our service centre in Reiden in order to make a claim under the guarantee and collects it in Reiden after it has been repaired. Alternatively, a collection by Fast Tech GmbH can be organised. In this case, the costs of CHF 90.00 (collection and delivery) must be borne by the purchaser. In the case of forwarding goods, the item will be taken over from the kerbside.
In the case of accessory items, the shipping costs of the shipment to our service centre and the costs of the return shipment are to be borne by the buyer.
Barbecues and accessories must be securely packed for transport. Fast Tech GmbH cannot be held liable for transport damages.
§ 11.3 Warranty options
- § 11.3.1 Extension of the bring-in warranty by two years (total 5 years warranty)
When purchasing new barbecues, Fast Tech GmbH offers the possibility of a warranty extension of two years. Fast Tech GmbH will replace and repair defective components and accessories free of charge at the service centre in Reiden.
The purchaser brings the barbecue to our service point in Reiden to make use of the guarantee and collects it in Reiden after the repair. Alternatively, collection from the kerbside can be organised by Fast Tech GmbH. In this case, the costs of CHF 90.00 (collection and delivery) must be borne by the purchaser. The buyer must pack the barbecue safely for transport and make it available in good time for the agreed collection. The packaging material is not included. Fast Tech GmbH cannot be held liable for any damage that occurs during transport.
- § 11.3.2 Extension of the bring-in warranty by two years (total 5-year warranty) including pick-up & return
When purchasing new barbecues, Fast Tech GmbH offers the option of a two-year warranty extension. With the Pick-Up & Return option, Fast Tech GmbH organises the collection of the defective barbecue, replaces and repairs defective components and delivers the barbecue back to the purchaser free of charge (forwarding company, kerbside).
The freight forwarder takes over the item from the kerb. The buyer must pack the barbecue securely for transport and make it available in good time for the agreed collection. The packaging material is not included. Fast Tech GmbH cannot be held liable for any damage that occurs during transport.
Often defects can be repaired by the customer himself in a few minutes (e.g. replacement of the gas pressure regulator or burner). In such and comparable situations Fast Tech GmbH has the option to send the necessary spare part to the customer. In these cases, collection of the barbecue for repair by a forwarding agent is excluded.
Fast Tech reserves the right to make unilateral changes to these GTC.
§ 13 Ambiguities
In case of any ambiguity or contradiction between the German and the French or English text of the GTC, the German text shall prevail.
§ 14 Severability clause
Should individual provisions of these GTC be invalid in whole or in part, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. The invalid provisions shall be replaced by the respective legal provisions.
§ 15 Passwords
The customer is obliged to keep his customer number and password (online shop) secret and to make them inaccessible to third parties. The customer is liable for misuse of his access data.
§ 16 Data protection
In the collection, processing and use of personal or company-related data, Fast Tech complies with the provisions of the Swiss data protection legislation. Personal data is only collected and used for the purpose of processing the contractual relationship. This data is only passed on to third parties to the extent that this is absolutely necessary for the proper execution of the contract. In addition, the personal data shall be appropriately protected against access by unauthorised third parties.
§ 17 Place of jurisdiction and applicable law
All obligations arising from the contractual relationship are subject to Swiss law. The place of jurisdiction for all legal disputes arising from the contractual relationship and its creation and effectiveness shall be Stansstad.
The General Terms and Conditions have been translated from German into English. In case of questions of interpretation, the German version shall prevail.
