This folding thermometer is suitable for meat, soups, sauces, wine, drinks and baby food. It can also be used for baking, frying and roasting, as a cooling and freezing thermometer, and for measuring the temperature of cooked jam.
The core temperature meter switches on automatically when the temperature probe is extended and switches off when it is retracted. When not in use, the core temperature meter also switches off automatically after one minute when extended.
Use the dial to select one of the five pre-set meat types (beef, chicken, lamb, pork or turkey) and the cooking level within that type (rare, medium rare, medium, medium well, well done). Or enter the desired core temperature directly in the customised area using the dial.
Thanks to the meat thermometer's clear three-colour display, you can keep an eye on the current core temperature and the target temperature. When the target temperature is reached, an audible temperature alarm sounds and the display flashes green. If the core temperature is 3°C above the target temperature, the display flashes red.
This practical kitchen aid has an integrated timer for up to 999 seconds.
